VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Sept. 3, 2009) - Michael Katz, a director of Strategem Capital Corporation ("Strategem" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:SGE), has acquired 71,500 additional common shares of Strategem in the public market on September 2, 2009. The 71,500 common shares of Strategem acquired by Mr. Katz are approximately 1.36% of the presently issued and outstanding common shares of Strategem.

Prior to the acquisition of the 71,500 common shares, Mr. Katz owned 1,069,793 common shares of Strategem such that he presently owns a total of 1,141,293 or 21.7% of the common shares of Strategem. Mr. Katz has control over all the securities referred to above.

The shares were acquired for investment purposes only. Mr. Katz may in the future acquire additional common shares of Strategem or dispose of common shares of Strategem.
