NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - August 13, 2009) - AURUS CORP (PINKSHEETS: [ AURC ]) announces that Mr. Lvov Andrey Jurevich has been appointed as the new President of the company. Mr. Jurevich received his higher education from Irkutsk polytechnical institute. He has extensive experience within the prospecting and gold mining enterprises of the Magadan region since 1976; specialization -- the geologist, the mountain master, the chief of a site, the general director, the president of the companies -- STELSGEO LLC, Sosnovgeologija, SevVostGeologija, "RemBurStroj." Ms. Alexandra Korogod was appointed as the chief financial officer of the company. Her higher education was received from Murmansk State Technical University (speciality -- "the Finance and the credit"), the Saint-Petersburg State Engineering-Economic University (speciality -- "the Finance and the credit", specialization -- "Banking"), School Embassy ILAC (Toronto, Canada). Her operational experience: KB "Monchebank," Murmansk; KB "GUTA-BANK," Saint-Petersburg (department of the currency control). Now she lives in Toronto, Canada.
