CARLSBAD, CA--(Marketwire - September 2, 2009) - EcoBlu Products, Inc. (OTCBB: [ ECOB ]) is pleased to provide a corporate update with respect to its ongoing business activities and recent industry news.

Activity at the new Texas facility has been increasing since its opening in July. Business with such national accounts as Tuff Shed, Inc., the largest manufacturer and installer of storage buildings and garages in the United States, and others is driving revenues from the new plant. In addition, the Texas facility recently completed a 6,000 square foot home for MASA Homes in Fort Worth with an additional five homes under construction. As previously reported, the Company is projecting revenues from the Texas plant to be approximately $10 million in the next twelve month period.

The Company is also reporting a new research report published by Next Gen Research that expects the global green building materials market to grow about 5% per year to reach $571 billion by 2013. "This is great news for EcoBlu; we are in an excellent position to take advantage of this predicted growth," said Steve Conboy, President and CEO of EcoBlu Products. "As the housing market rebounds, the areas coming back first are Texas and California. We are ready with a green building product line that can change the wood construction business," added Conboy.

EcoBlu products are Green because the use of EcoBlu's exclusive coating process on wood products for residential and commercial construction can dramatically reduce consumption of our forest resources by using technology to create a life-long wood product. EcoBlu coating technology is formulated without the use of harmful chemicals that can leach into the ground water, is non-toxic, and contains less Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) than a can of soda.

EcoBlu products are Green Spec® listed and the Company is a Certified Green Dealer™.
