FORT LAUDERDALE, FL--(Marketwire - August 18, 2009) - Ocean Bio Chem, Inc. (NASDAQ: [ OBCI ]) reports that on August 14, 2009 the NASDAQ staff notified Ocean Bio Chem, Inc., in writing that its common stock has been at $1.00 per share for at least 10 consecutive business days. Accordingly, the Company has regained compliance with Listing Rule 5550(a) (2)

This notification closes the Nasdaq matter of non-compliance for maintaining a minimum bid price of $1.00 over the previous 30 consecutive business days, as required by the Listing Rules of The Nasdaq Stock Market.
