Tootie Pie Company, Inc.: Benny's Bagels Wins Nickelodeon "Best in San Antonio" Award

BOERNE, TX--(Marketwire - August 20, 2009) - The Tootie Pie Company, Inc. (OTCBB: [ TOOT ]), a premium baker and seller of high-quality, handmade pies, announced today that the two San Antonio Benny's Bagels won the 2009 Nickelodeon Award for Best Breakfast in San Antonio. Tootie recently announced that it had signed an Agreement to acquire the two Benny's. The two shops, located at Bitters and Heubner and Hwy 281 and Evans Road, will continue selling coffee, bagels, light sandwiches and pastries from 7 am until 3 pm. Once they are converted to Tootie Pie Shops, the hours will be extended until 9 pm and the menu will expand to include whole pies, pie by the slice, as well as other dessert offerings.
