

WABCO Announces Multi-Year Contract with IVECO to Supply Innovative Air Processing Technology for Commercial Vehicles in Brazil
BRUSSELS, BELGIUM--(Marketwire - March 22, 2011) - WABCO Holdings Inc. (NYSE:WBC) ([ www.wabco-auto.com ]), a global technology leader and tier-one supplier to the commercial vehicle industry, has entered into a long term agreement with IVECO, a global manufacturer of commercial vehicles headquartered in Turin, Italy, to supply WABCO's innovative air processing unit (APU) technology for IVECO's complete range of trucks in Brazil and Argentina starting in 2012.
WABCO's new generation of APU technology combines an innovative multi-protection valve with proven air dryer and air cartridge systems in a superbly engineered compact design. This means improved reliability and optimal performance while increasing energy efficiencies of IVECO light, medium and heavy duty trucks.
This contract with IVECO for APU technology to support series production in Brazil and Argentina represents new business and further expands WABCO's long established supply relationship with IVECO. WABCO furnishes IVECO with anti-lock braking, electronic braking and electronically controlled air suspension systems, as well as air compressor technology, vehicle control modules and braking products, among other vehicle components.
