CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - March 18, 2011) -

Delphi Energy Corp. ("Delphi") (TSX:DEE) announces that it has entered into a non-brokered private placement to an existing shareholder to issue 3,200,000 flow-through common shares of Delphi at an issue price of $2.80 each, resulting in gross proceeds of $8,960,000. Proceeds of the offering will be used to fund Delphi's ongoing capital program. Flow-through qualifying expenditures will be required to be incurred by December 31, 2012. The offering is subject to normal regulatory approvals, including approval of the Toronto Stock Exchange. Closing is expected to occur on or before March 24, 2011.
