Tianli Agritech, Inc. Provides Meat Inspection Update
WUHAN CITY, CHINA--(Marketwire - March 28, 2011) - Tianli Agritech, Inc. (

"From the breeder stock we select to the feed we source and blend with our proprietary premix, Tianli takes extraordinary measures to maintain a healthy environment and to attain the highest standards for hog meat. Since commencing operations in 2005, we have never had a health violation or disease outbreak at any of our farms. We further subject our hogs to provincial and national testing and certification standards on a yearly basis." Ms. Li continued, "Producing hogs with meat of high quality and purity has been a basic tenet of Tianli's operating philosophy since it was formed, and we have taken significant steps to achieve that goal and our well deserved reputation as a producer of hogs which consistently exceed the highest meat purity standard."
Tianli operates ten separate hog farms in Wuhan and anticipates completing an acquisition of its eleventh farm in May of 2011. Tianli raises breeder and meat hogs which are fed a proprietary premix that contains no antibiotics or artificial supplements. Tianli's hogs are routinely tested by the Hubei Province Import and Export Commodity Inspection and Quarantine Bureau and have passed all standards for residues of drugs, heavy metals and other contaminants. Tianli has cooperated with the Research Institute of Farming and Veterinary, Hubei Academy of Agricultural Sciences to form a key laboratory and also contracted four independent leading hog veterinary specialists to establish its breeding and feeding methodologies to further ensure the health and quality of the Company's hogs.
