ASHBURN, VA--(Marketwire - September 21, 2009) - GuestMetrics, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: [ GESM ]) is pleased to announce that the Company has been featured in a three page Special Report in the September 2009 issue of Nightclub & Bar Magazine. The article gives the results for beverage alcohol sales during the first six months of 2009, as compared to the same period in 2008, in six major markets across the U.S. The data for this report was collected using GuestMetrics' GuestSnapshot Enterprise Reporting Solution, which is uploaded daily from point-of-sale systems.

The article, titled "Tracking Drink Trends: On-Premise Sales are Down but Opportunities Exist," states that the sales data was collected from 2,800 bars and casual dining establishments, representing 104 million guest checks, totaling $4.5 billion in total sales. Although results show an overall decrease in sales of beverage alcohol, which was down on average 17%, GuestMetrics anticipates a more positive trend occurring in the final six months of 2009. GuestMetrics has an on-going agreement with Questex Media Group, Inc., which owns Nightclub & Bar Magazine to collect and analyze data quarterly so the magazine can report sales trends to its readers.

"GuestMetrics has cracked the code for on-premise drink sales data, and we at Nightclub & Bar are proud to bring to our readers the first of many reports on current sales trends based on actual point-of-sales data," as stated in the Editor's Note by Donna Hood Crecca, Editorial Director of Nightclub & Bar Magazine on page two of the magazine.

"We are very pleased to be providing data and analysis to this industry-leading magazine, which gives a great overall picture of industry trends," stated Brian Barrett, CEO of GuestMetrics, Inc., "Because we collect data at the check level, we are also able to create customized reports on very specific data for any of our clients."
