HONG KONG--(Marketwire - September 8, 2009) - Announced today at Aircraft Interiors Expo / Asian Aerospace in Hong Kong, China, Panasonic Avionics Corporation (Panasonic) has opened its China Region headquarters in Hong Kong and has set in place the infrastructure to support the rapidly expanding in-flight entertainment and communications (IFEC) market in China.

Widely acknowledged as the industry leader in next-generation IFEC platforms that maximize airline operational efficiency and enhance the passenger experience, Panasonic is sending a clear message to customers in one of the fastest growing aviation markets in the world.
