RACINE, Wis.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Modine Manufacturing Company (NYSE: MOD), a diversified global leader in thermal management technology and solutions, today announced that Matthew J. McBurney has been promoted to the position of Director – Commercial Products North America, reporting to Thomas F. Marry, Modine's Regional Vice President – Asia. In this capacity, McBurney succeeds Thomas G. Cromwell, formerly Vice President of Modine's Commercial Products Group, who was recently promoted to Regional Vice President – Americas within the company.

In his new capacity, McBurney, a 17-year Modine veteran, will oversee the company's Commercial Products Group (CPG) business throughout North America. "We are very pleased to have Matt lead our North American commercial products business," said Marry. "Matt is already well known by many of our CPG customers. His strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and proven record of success will continue to move our North American Commercial Products business forward."

Modine's Commercial Products Group sells a variety of commercial furnaces, chillers, data center cooling units, heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems; and many other products to commercial and residential customers worldwide.

Since joining Modine in 1992, McBurney has served in numerous operations and management positions, including Program Manager in the Automotive division, Plant Superintendent for the Richland, SC facility, and Business & Product Development Manager within CPG.
