JASPER, Ind.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Kimball Electronics Group (KEG), a subsidiary of Kimball International, Inc., (NASDAQ: KBALB) announces the hiring and appointment of Greg Bannick to the position of Director, Medical Industry Solutions. Bannick's appointment underscores Kimball's commitment to its significant position in the field of medical electronics and its strategy of growing market share in this key sector. Bannick's addition to KEG's business development team will bring focused leadership to the medical sector. He will pursue relationships with potential new customers on a global basis, utilizing the mix of capabilities and resources available within the Kimball Electronics Group portfolio of services. Kimball Electronics Group currently has manufacturing operations located in Indiana, Florida, and California (USA), Mexico, Poland, Wales (UK), Thailand and China. Bannick has over 26 years of experience in the Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) industry, managing business development activities and selling to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in various market segments, specializing in the medical segment. He co-founded an FDA-registered EMS company with over 120 employees, which produced medical, security, and industrial products. The company was later acquired. Bannick is experienced in recruiting and building highly successful sales teams and support organizations. Prior to joining Kimball, his strategic planning approach contributed to the success and growth of a number of notable companies. Over the course of his career his success has proven his ability to develop strong customer relationships as a strategic partner, personally generating over $600 million in sales.

Bannick attended Washington State University where he studied Business Marketing and Communications. He and his wife reside in Redmond, Washington.
