























Fortune Brands Names Patrick J. Koley Senior Vice President " Strategy & Corporate Development

DEERFIELD, Ill.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Fortune Brands, Inc. (NYSE: FO), the company behind leading consumer brands including Jim Beam, Titleist and Moen, today announced that Patrick J. Koley has joined the company as senior vice president – strategy & corporate development. He reports to Bruce Carbonari, chairman and chief executive officer of Fortune Brands.
Koley joins Fortune Brands from ConAgra Foods, where he held key strategy and development positions of increasing responsibility for the past 14 years, most recently as principal investment officer – ConAgra Commercial. At ConAgra, he previously served as president – emerging businesses, vice president – strategic development, director – acquisition analysis, and manager – corporate planning & development. Prior to joining ConAgra in 1994, Koley spent four years at Price Waterhouse in Chicago, rising to the position of vice president – corporate finance group. He began his career at Wells Fargo Bank in San Francisco and Chicago. Koley is a graduate of the University of Southern California and earned his MBA from Southern Methodist University.

Koley succeeds Chris Klein, who, as previously announced, will join the company's Home & Hardware business in April as president and chief operating officer – home products. Klein remains senior vice president of Fortune Brands in the interim.
