

WMS Files Patent Infringement Lawsuit against Bally Gaming
WAUKEGAN, Ill.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--WMS Gaming Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of WMS Industries Inc. (NYSE:WMS), a leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of games and gaming machines to the global gaming industry, today announced that it has filed a lawsuit against Bally Gaming, Inc., a subsidiary of Bally Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: BYI) in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, Eastern Division in Chicago. The suit alleges that several of Ballya™s products, including its CASH SPINa" product, infringe WMS patents covering WMSa™ Transmissive Reels® gaming concept and technology (U.S. patent number 7,458,890 entitled aReel Spinning Slot Machine with Superimposed Video Imagea and U.S. patent number 7,585,220 entitled aGaming Machine with Superimposed Display Imagea). WMS is seeking injunctive relief and unspecified damages.
