VANCOUVER, Oct. 20 /CNW/ - Zongshen PEM Power Systems Inc. (ZPP or the "Company") (TSX: ZPP) today announced the appointment of Mr. Michael Cheung as the Vice President of Business Development and Investor Relations.

Mr. Cheung was most recently the Chief Financial Officer of PenderFund Capital Management Inc., a Vancouver based mutual fund, where he oversaw the finance and securities compliance functions as well as assisted with investment activities.  Prior to PenderFund, Michael worked as an investment banker at RBC Capital Markets and as an audit manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.  Mr. Cheung is a Chartered Accountant and holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
