PORTLAND, OR--(Marketwire - June 29, 2010) - Williams Controls, Inc. (the "Company") (NASDAQ: [ WMCO ]) today announced that its Board of Directors has declared a cash dividend of $1.00 per share on the Company's outstanding common shares, payable on July 28, 2010 to shareholders of record at the close of business on July 14, 2010.

The Company has not yet determined whether, or to what extent, this distribution would be taxable as a dividend or be treated as a return of capital.
