ALPHARETTA, GA--(Marketwire - June 24, 2010) - Interactive Defense, LLC, a subsidiary of F3 Technologies, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: [ FTCH ]) and the developer of an online public-safety network, received a letter of intent from its first major partner, a police department in a metro-Atlanta community with pro-active policing and strong demographics.

Interactive Defense System will help officers in the city, one of the five most-affluent in Georgia, to stay in closer contact with local residents and businesses. The network will allow police to give the community immediate notification of missing children and criminal suspects who pose a threat. It will also allow the city's 30,000-plus residents to share crime tips more directly with officers and with each other, request officer assistance, and notify officers when their homes will be vacant due to moves or vacation.

Interactive Defense, LLC is a joint venture of F3 Technologies, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: [ FTCH ]) and Noble Heroes, Inc. Interactive Defense is a specialized version of F3's Interaction Community Systems networking solution for homeowners associations and other member groups that includes a Safety Center for community residents and HeroSpace for municipal employees.

In the Safety Center, police and residents can trade up-to-the-minute information on important safety issues. HeroSpace is a professional network for firefighters, police officers and other municipal employees that will help improve departmental efficiency, improve collaboration within the city and promote a greener work environment by reducing the need for paper documents.

"This forward-thinking move by the police department gives us strong credibility as we continue our discussions with police departments and city governments throughout the nation," F3 Chief Operating Officer Paul Campbell said.

The new relationship is also of special value because the city's affluence and tradition of community involvement represent fertile ground for Interaction Community Systems, F3's flagship service. Its per-capita income of more than $60,000 was among the top five in Georgia in 2005, according to U.S. Census data. Its median home value of more than $400,000 in 2008 compares with the statewide median value of $169,000. With more than 30,000 residents and about 200 homeowners associations, it potentially represents more than a tripling in the number of people with access to Interaction.
