ALPHARETTA, GA--(Marketwire - June 25, 2010) - F3 Technologies, Inc., (PINKSHEETS: [ FTCH ]) has launched FargoTube™, the online service that will revolutionize the media and entertainment industries by allowing content owners to create fan sites where they can profit directly from their works.

[ FargoTube ]'s launch on Friday, June 25, 2010 follows five weeks of live testing and feedback by users and industry partners, and extensive improvements by F3's software team.

Developers have eliminated a range of minor bugs, including several that were associated with certain operating systems and internet browsers. F3 has also honed FargoTube's compatibility with the iPhone and other mobile communications devices.

FargoTube incorporates more than two-dozen themes. The service's ever-growing varieties of themes and layouts help content owners to incorporate it seamlessly into their existing online presence, which is crucial for maintaining an active and engaged fan base.

"We believe FargoTube will become the indispensable tool for providing online entertainment that is both fun for fans and profitable for owners," F3 Chief Executive Officer Frank Connor said.

The service is free for content owners, who collect a significant portion of revenue from what they post. After viewing the preview period of a video, a user is prompted to purchase the entire video or sign up for a subscription. The format is a stark departure from other online video sites, which return little or no revenue to owners and artists.

FargoTube's second distinguishing feature is its delivery of media in "tubes" -- social networks set up and customized by content owners. Fans can create profiles with pictures of themselves, e-mail other fans and set up their own networks of friends within each tube.

Each tube also functions as a customized digital marketplace with multiple revenue streams. Owners can choose the subscription format, or price some videos according to demand while offering promotional videos free of charge. Owners can sell t-shirts and other fan paraphernalia, and allow or restrict third-party advertisers. Tube owners can promote concerts and film releases, get fans' feedback, and allow fans to share their enthusiasm with one another.

These marketplaces will limit owners' reliance on third-party vendors such as NetFlix™, Amazon™ and iTunes™ and help tube owners to better understand their fans' buying habits.

F3 Technologies expects the use of FargoTube to expand rapidly as fans discover video footage and other content that are not available elsewhere. The service will encourage artists to post videos that they previously had no incentive to post, or even to create.

FargoTube is expected to deliver still photos and MP3 music files by the end of July.

FargoTube's launch this week draws momentum from a series of partnerships finalized since April. FargoTube was listed earlier this week as a distributor -- the only one of its type -- in a [ vendor directory ] that the Screen Actors Guild provides for independent filmmakers.

Goldfinger Creative, an advertising and public-relations firm, is helping to introduce FargoTube to potential partners in a range of creative industries, while distributing its own clients' creative works through FargoTube. Strange Celebrity Entertainment, LLC, a Nashville-based country-music label, signed an agreement last week to use FargoTube for four of its acts.

FargoTube is fully compatible with Windows™, Macintosh™ and Linux™ operating systems, the Internet Explorer™, Firefox™, Safari™ and Chrome™ browsers, and with the internet browsers and video players in iPhone™ devices. It accepts files as large as a full gigabyte, much larger than what's required for a full-length feature film.
