CASTLE ROCK, CO--(Marketwire - July 2, 2010) - Leann Saunders, co-founder and president of IMI Global, Inc. (OTCBB: [ INMG ]), will be a featured guest on an upcoming episode of Lifetime Television's The Balancing Act to talk about the company's latest effort to connect consumers with the people that raise their food -- WhereFoodComesFrom®. The segment will air as part of The Balancing Act's My Cuisine series.

"WhereFoodComesFrom is our effort to connect the verification services that IMI Global, has been providing farmers and ranchers for 15 years with the consumers who are thirsting for more knowledge about the people who raise their food and the methods they employ," says Saunders. "We're excited about this initiative as it gives U.S. shoppers confidence in the claims that farmers and ranchers make about the food products they raise."

Research indicates that transparency in food production is becoming more and more important to consumers. A 2009 survey of adult grocery shoppers in the 10 largest U.S. cities found that consumers' appetite for information about food products increased from when a similar study was conducted in 2007. Seventy-six percent of those surveyed wanted more information about food's origin and 74 percent were willing to dig deeper and seek more data about how food products are grown, processed and manufactured.

"People are looking for accurate information about their food that they can trust," says Saunders. "In the past, we haven't been able to provide that information authentically because we didn't have a system to verify the various marketing claims that a food grower might be making, such as how animals were raised or the source of the food product. Today we have that system with WhereFoodComesFrom and the process verified systems that support it."

The Balancing Act segment featuring Saunders will air July 9 and July 23 at 7:00 a.m. (ET/PT). For more information or to view the segment after its original air date, visit [ www.TheBalancingAct.com ] or [ www.WhereFoodComesFrom.com ].
