


Jordan Brand Heads to Phoenix with an All-Star Lineup of Events
BEAVERTON, Ore.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Jordan Brand, a division of NIKE, Inc. (NYSE:NKE), kicks off the 2009 All-Star Weekend in Phoenix with an exciting and commemorative lineup of events. First up, Jordan Brand will team up with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to grant three deserving teenagers their fondest wishes ranging from attending the All-Star Week's festivities to an exclusive shopping spree in New York City. Jordan Brand will also host an intimate invitation only dinner to celebrate the all new AIR JORDAN 2009. Finally, throughout the week Jordan Brand will create a one-of-a-kind retail environment for consumers and fans to see, feel and experience the AIR JORDAN 2009, as well as meet some of their favorite Team Jordan athletes.

The full schedule of Jordan Brand events begins on February 12 with a special luncheon where Jordan Brand will present a donation of $100,000 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, while at the same time granting the wishes of three deserving teens. With Jordan Brand and the Make-A-Wish Foundation, two teens and their families will attend the All-Star game and festivities and one more teen and his family will fly to New York for a shopping spree in early March.
Keeping in the tradition of All-Star, Jordan Brand events will center around the launch of the next AIR JORDAN. The Jordan Brand will host an exciting AIR JORDAN 2009 BEYOND Retail Event at the MetroCenter Mall in Phoenix from February 12 through 14, which gives consumers the opportunity to interact with the brand through a variety of experiences. The AIR JORDAN 2009's designer, Jason Mayden, will guide consumers through the footwear process and several Team Jordan athletes including Chris Paul, Mike Bibby, Ray Allen, Joe Johnson and Paralympian April Holmes will stop by to sign autographs and take pictures with fans as they check out the AIR JORDAN 2009. The nationwide launch coincides with All-Star Weekend, releasing on Saturday, February 14, 2009 with a suggested retail price of $190.
