TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Feb. 20, 2009) - Schneider Power Inc., (TSX VENTURE:SNE) today announced the resignation of Mr. Ralf Krueger from the Board of Directors for personal reasons.

Schneider CEO Jonathan Lundy commented, "As a veteran of the European renewable energy industry, Ralf provided great wisdom and significant value to the Company over the past three years and we thank him for this service and wish him well in the future."

Going forward, Schneider will continue to use and benefit from the services of Mr. Krueger's employer Juwi, GmbH.

Current members of Schneider Power's Board of Directors include: Richard Boxer, Lewis Reford, Bernd Schneider, Thomas Schneider and Jonathan Lundy.
