On 17 June 2009, Tony Williams tendered his resignation as a director of the Company to enable him to pursue other interests. Accordingly, he has stepped down from the Board with immediate effect.
African Copper's Chairman David Rodier said:

African Copper is an international exploration and development company incorporated in England and Wales and dual-listed on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange and the Botswana Stock Exchange.
