WILTON, Conn., March 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Drinks Americas Holdings, Ltd., ("Drinks") (OTCBB: DKAM), a leading developer and marketer of beverage products, announced today that KAH® Tequila was recently honored at The Ultimate Spirits Challenge held in New York CityMarch 5 - 9.

KAH® Tequila Anejo received a score of 93, an "Excellent, Highly Recommended" accolade, and KAH® Tequila Reposado 110 Proof scored 90, also with an accolade of "Excellent, Highly Recommended". 

The Ultimate Spirits Challenge identifies, recognizes and rewards those products which stand out in their respective categories, showing superior quality. Multiple panels of the highest-qualified experts blind-tasted each entry by classification in appropriately grouped flights within each major spirits category, scoring each on the 100-point scale.

KAH® Tequila previously was voted "Best of the Best" by [ Tequila.net ], received multiple awards for taste in all styles at the Spirits International Prestige Competition with KAH® EXTRA ANEJO receiving the Platinum Award for Best in Class, and the KAH® TEQUILA SERIES received Platinum Award for Best in Class for Package Design.
