Campbell Raises Quarterly Dividend by 5 Percent

CAMDEN, N.J.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Campbell Soup Company (NYSE:CPB) today announced that the company's Board of Directors has approved a 5-percent increase in its quarterly dividend to $0.29 per share from $0.275 per share, effective in the second quarter of fiscal 2011. The dividend is payable on Jan. 31, 2011 to shareholders of record at the close of business on Dec. 27, 2010.

This marks the seventh consecutive year Campbell has increased its dividend. The company has paid dividends since it became public in 1954.
