CAMDEN, N.J.--([ ])--Campbell Soup Company (NYSE: CPB) announced that Nancy A. Reardon, Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources and Communications Officer, was named a Fellow by the National Academy of Human Resources and was installed in its twentieth class of Fellows, an honor considered the most prestigious in the field of human resources.

Reardonas career in the human resources field has spanned more than 25 years. Currently, Reardon oversees the global human resources and communications functions for Campbell and its nearly 18,000 employees. She plays a key role in shaping Campbellas strategic and operating plans and in positioning the company for international growth. She works closely with Campbellas Board of Directors and the Compensation and Organization Committees, including supporting Campbell's recent CEO succession process.

Reardonas career experience includes prior senior executive positions at Duracell, Inc., American Express and Avon Products, Inc. She joined Campbell in 2004 from Comcast Cable Communications, where she was instrumental in the merger integration of AT&T Broadband.

In addition to Reardon, the National Academy of Human Resources named two other Fellows to the class of 2011: Lucien Alziari, Avon Products, Inc. and Joseph B. Ruocco, The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. Only 144 individuals have been elected Fellows of the National Academy of Human Resources since its founding in 1992.

Reardon is a member of the Board of The Warnaco Group, Inc. and is a member of the Compensation and Audit Committees. She currently co-chairs the Chief Human Resource Officer/Board Academy, and is a member of the HR Policy Association, the Personnel Round Table, the Society of Human Resource Management and the International Women's Forum. Reardon is a member of the board and executive committee of the Adirondack Museum. Previously, she was a board member of the Human Resource Planning Society and served as its Treasurer. Reardon also was a board member of New York Human Resource Planners and served as President and Treasurer. She was recognized by the YWCA as a Woman of Achievement in 2001. Reardon is a graduate of Union College with a bachelor of science degree in psychology with honors. She earned her masteras degree in social psychology from Syracuse University.
