HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA--(Marketwire - November 12, 2009) - Advanced Clean Technologies, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: [ ACTH ]) today disclosed additional information concerning the recent pilot tests conducted by its wholly owned subsidiary, American Petroleum Solutions, Inc. (APS), including the fact that the oil extraction rate exceeded 99% in both the Alberta, Canada and Utah tests. The APS technology for the oil reclamation and clean-up process has been used to complete projects for some of the largest oil and gas companies in the United States. These companies include ConocoPhillips, ExxonMobil, Avon Petroleum, Valero Petroleum, as well as the US Navy Petroleum Reserve. The principals and founders of APS have more than 15 years' experience in providing a wide range of green services, including environmental remediation, soil remediation and other services of the oil and gas industry.

Russell Kidder, President of Advanced Clean Technologies, Inc., stated, "Our tests, which utilized our patented, non-hazardous chemical reagents in an ambient temperature environment, were remarkable in that they showed our ability to successfully extract and separate over 99% of the oil residue present in both the Alberta and Utah oil sands samples. We believe that our unique technology provides an extraction rate that is significantly higher than the traditional methods, while at the same time being much more energy efficient and environmentally friendly."
