CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Nov. 3, 2009) - HeadsUp Entertainment International Inc. (the "Company") (PINK SHEETS:HDUP) operators of the Canadian Poker Tour (CPT) and the World Poker Showdown (WPS) are hosting the Costa Rica Poker Showdown at the Jazz Casino in Jaco Beach, Costa Rica November 6-15th. A series of 17 events will be held with buy in's ranging from $150 to the $2700 Main Event with estimated total prize pool exceeding $1,000,000.

"Poker tourism is a major focus for the Company", stated HeadsUp President Kelly B.
