Mike Pyle and Mike Pierce to Represent RYU at UFC on FX

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwire - Jun 5, 2012) - Today, Respect Your Universe, Inc. (RYU) (OTCBB: [ RYUN ]), [ http://www.ryu.com/ ], is thrilled to announce that on Friday, June 8th top UFC fightersMike Pyle and Mike Pierce will be representing RYU at UFC on FX for Johnson vs. McCall. Getting underway in Sunrise, Florida, at 9:00 p.m. EDT, Pierce vs. Rocha will be the last fight on the Prelims Card with Pyle vs. Neer as a highly anticipated Main Card bout.

Mike Pyle, an American Mixed Martial Artist from Las Vegas, Nevada, is a Welterweight with a 22-8-1 win/loss/draw Mixed Martial Arts record. Pyle's fastest submission took just 17 seconds when he submitted John Cole by guillotine choke in September 2006. Pyle also defeated Welterweight John Hathaway in October 2010 at UFC 120 via unanimous decision which marked Hathaway's first professional loss.

Mike Pierce, also an American Mixed Martial Artist, is a Middleweight and former NCAA Division I Wrestler from Portland, Oregon. Pierce, who has a 13-5-0 win/loss/draw Mixed Martial Arts record, defeated Julio Paulino at UFC Live: Vera vs. Jones in March 2010 via unanimous decision followed by a third round submission victory over UFC newcomer Amilcar Alves at UFC 118 in August 2010. Like all of Pierce's recent fights, taking on Carlos Eduardo Rocha at UFC on FX will be another challenging match-up.
