The acquisition furthers Global Imaginga™s strategy of creating a nationwide network of locally-based providers focused on improving document workflow and office efficiency for small and mid-size businesses. Two weeks ago, Global Imaging Systems acquired the assets of [ United Business Solutions ] of Addison, Ill., and earlier this year, Global Imaging acquired the assets of Florida Imaging & Network Systems.

Established in 1999, Premier Office Equipment, located in Marshalltown, Iowa, is an independent distributor of copiers, printers and multifunction systems, serving small and medium businesses in 17 counties.
