






Campbell Appoints Raymond Liguori Vice President - Corporate Development

CAMDEN, N.J.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Campbell Soup Company (NYSE: CPB) today announced the appointment of Raymond Liguori, as Vice President - Corporate Development. Liguori, 53, will lead a team responsible for the companya™s efforts in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances and joint ventures. He will be based at Campbella™s headquarters in Camden and will report to Craig Owens, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer.

Liguori has more than 23 years of financial leadership experience. He joins Campbell from Wal-Mart where he most recently served as Vice President-Mergers and Acquisitions, leading all international merger, acquisition and divestiture activities. Prior to that, Liguori was the Mergers & Acquisitions Vice President at AT&T Corporation, the largest U.S. provider of telecommunication support and services. Earlier in his career, he held finance leadership roles at Merrill Lynch, Salomon Brothers and GTE.

Liguori earned his B.S. degree in finance and economics from Boston College, his J.D. degree from Boston University School of Law and his M.B.A. degree from Harvard Business School.
