$5.3 million order reflects growth with OEM partner

OLATHE, Kan., Oct. 26, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Elecsys Corporation (NASDAQ: [ ESYS ]) announced today that it received a $5.3 million order for custom electronic control and sensor assemblies from a manufacturer of equipment used in outdoor applications in multiple markets worldwide.

Elecsys has been working closely with this customer for several years and the broad capabilities and diverse resources provided by Elecsys have enabled them to consolidate the manufacturing of their electronic assemblies to a single source.  The products offered by this customer are the technology leaders in their industry and this manufacturer has been experiencing substantial growth as new designs have been introduced and its business has expanded internationally.  The products contained in this new order are to be delivered at regular intervals and the Company anticipates that the majority of the order will be delivered over the next 12 to 15 months.
