

































Superior Industries Strengthens Operations Team with Appointment of Manufacturing Executive Michael Bakaric to Newly Created Po
VAN NUYS, Calif.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Superior Industries International, Inc. (NYSE:SUP) today announced that Michael N. Bakaric has been appointed to the newly created position of vice president, Midwest operations.

Bakaric reports directly to Michael J. Oa™Rourke, Superiora™s executive vice president of sales, marketing and operations. He will oversee all aspects of the companya™s manufacturing operations in the Midwest region, including process and control, infrastructure enhancements, quality and personnel.

Bakaric most recently served as president of Pace Industriesa™ aluminum die castings division in Harrison, Arkansas, and was vice president of its magnesium die castings division in Auburn, Alabama. Previously, he was plant manager for Danaher Tool Group and earlier held a number of positions with Lear Corporation and Ford Motor Company, including as operations and plant manager, as well as engineering and facilities manager.
Bakaric earned a bachelora™s degree in business administration from Eugene Lang College and a mastera™s degree in manufacturing engineering from Wayne State University. He is also a graduate of the U.S. Naval Nuclear Power School, having studied nuclear engineering technology and becoming a licensed nuclear power plant supervisor.
