































































Schneider Power Inc.: Schneider Power Granted Zoning By-Law Approval for Arthur Wind Farm


TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - April 6, 2009) - Schneider Power Inc. (TSX VENTURE:SNE) announced today that Council for the Township of Wellington North has passed the proposed Zoning Bylaw Amendment (ZBLA) for the development of the Arthur Wind Farm.
The Arthur Wind Farm, part of the Arthur Wind Farm L.P. with Energy Farming Invest Inc., has secured a long-term power purchase agreement with the Ontario Power Authority. The wind farm is anticipated to be one of Canada's most technologically advanced, low-impact wind power generation projects using five Enercon wind turbine generators with a total nameplate capacity of 10 Megawatts.
