Brand fans have the chance to be part of the popular "Damn Right Your Dad Drank It"™ advertising campaign by submitting their own photos for consideration. Photos should represent the theme, "Damn Right Your Dad Hasn't Told you Everything." The winning photo will have the chance to be featured in a national Canadian Club ad. Additionally, the winner will win a trip to Chicago for a "Weekend of Manliness."

  • Photos must be from the late 1960s and early 1970s and should epitomize the brand spirit of Canadian Club. (Think mustaches, good times with the guys -- basically, anything from dad's pre-patriarchal days that you only think you know all the details about.)
  • Submissions will be accepted between 3/31/09 and 4/26/09. From there, Canadian Club will select its top three photos then open up voting to consumers to help select the ultimate winner. The winner will be announced during the week of June 15, 2009.
  • All individuals photographed in the winning submission, along with the photo submitter, will be flown to Chicago for a "Weekend of Manliness."
  • Canadian Club partnered with Thrillist, the daily email newsletter of must-have recommendations published in nine major cities across the country as well as a national edition, for the contest. Those interested in submitting photos must be Thrillist subscribers.
