New housing in Epping is opening to support people with developmental disorders and acquired brain disorders.

The new supportive housing facility in Epping, New Hampshire, opened on May 15, 2025, offering 30 units specifically designed for individuals who have experienced chronic homelessness and have a diagnosed disability. The facility, developed through a collaboration between the state's Department of Health and Human Services and local nonprofit organizations, provides not only housing but also comprehensive support services including mental health care, substance abuse treatment, and job training programs. The opening ceremony was attended by state officials, community leaders, and residents, who celebrated the initiative as a significant step toward addressing homelessness and promoting long-term stability for vulnerable populations in the region.
