According to local news reports, federal agents had a warrant to search the Oklahoma City home.

An Oklahoma woman, Renee Bates, claimed that federal agents raided her home and seized her savings of $40,000, which she had withdrawn from the bank to purchase a new home. The seizure occurred under civil forfeiture laws, which allow law enforcement to take assets suspected of being connected to criminal activity without a criminal conviction.
