A Minnesota state senator, Calvin Bahr, experienced a break-in at his home in suburban St. Paul just days before the legislative session was set to begin on February 12, 2024. The incident occurred on a Sunday, and although the intruder did not steal anything, they left behind a mess, including a broken window and scattered items. Bahr, a Republican, expressed relief that no one was hurt and emphasized his commitment to continue serving his constituents despite the unsettling event. The police are currently investigating the break-in, but no suspects have been identified yet.
