Two firefighters injured, family displaced after house fire, MFD says
Tuesday evening to find their house up in flames. In the twenty minutes it took for the fire department to extinguish the blaze, two firefighters were injured; they were taken to the hospital.
A house fire in Memphis, Tennessee, resulted in two firefighters being injured and a family being displaced from their home. The incident occurred on the 3000 block of South Goodlett Street. According to the Memphis Fire Department, the fire was reported around 10:30 p.m. and escalated to a two-alarm fire. The firefighters sustained minor injuries while combating the blaze. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, and the Red Cross is assisting the displaced family.
