A house in southeast Oklahoma City is a total loss after a fire broke out Wednesday morning. It happened around 3:45 a.m. Wednesday near SE 44th and High. OKC Fire crews say they were called by neighbors about large flames coming from the home. When they got there, crews said the home was engulfed.

A house fire in Oklahoma City on January 15, 2024, resulted in the total loss of a home located near Southwest 44th Street and South High Avenue. The fire, which started around 10:30 a.m., was reported by a neighbor who saw smoke coming from the house. Firefighters arrived to find the house fully engulfed in flames. Although no injuries were reported, the homeowner was not at home at the time of the fire. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
