Louisville Metro Police are looking for people who may have been victimized by a man that they've arrested and accused of stealing from the elderly.
The Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) is currently investigating a series of robberies targeting elderly individuals in Louisville, Kentucky. The suspect, described as a Black male in his 20s or 30s, has been approaching elderly victims, engaging them in conversation, and then robbing them. One incident involved a 72-year-old woman who was robbed of her purse after the suspect asked her for directions. Another victim, an 82-year-old man, was also targeted but managed to retain his wallet. The suspect has been known to use a ruse to get close to his victims before committing the theft. LMPD is urging the public to be vigilant and has provided contact information for anyone with information to come forward.
