Avon Elects Charles H. Noski to Board of Directors
NEW YORK, Sept. 18, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Avon Products, Inc. (NYSE: [ AVP ]) today announced that its Board of Directors has elected Charles H. Noski to the board, effective immediately. Mr. Noski's election increases Avon's Board to 12 Directors.
Mr. Noski, age 60, served as Vice Chairman of Bank of America Corporation from June 2011 to September 2012, following his role as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of that company from May 2010 to June 2011. Prior to that, Mr. Noski served as Corporate Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Northrop Grumman Corporation, as well as a director of that company. He has also held the roles of Chief Financial Officer and Vice Chairman of the Board of AT&T Corporation, and numerous senior leadership and board positions at Hughes Electronics Corporation. Prior to that, he was a partner at Deloitte & Touche LLP. In addition to his role on Avon's Board, Mr. Noski is a director of Avery Dennison Corporation and Microsoft Corporation. He has also served previously as a director of Air Products & Chemicals, Inc., Automatic Data Processing, Inc., and Morgan Stanley.
