Gold and Gemstone Mining Inc. Opens Office in Freetown, Sierra Leone

DRAPER, UT--(Marketwire - May 14, 2012) - Gold and GemStone Mining Inc. (OTCBB: [ GGSMD ]), an alluvial diamond and gold exploration and development stage mining company focused on Sierra Leone, West Africa has opened its mining development office in the Country's Capital, Freetown.

GGSM has moved into the new premises, thus marking the starting point of its activities in Sierra Leone. The purpose for the office is to act as a central point for the continued development of the Company's 3 mining concessions held in the Kono District, Sierra Leone's main mining district. GGSM is in the process of finalizing its exploration plans for its first mining concession, which management expects to begin production on within 6 months.
