NEW ORLEANS--([ ])--Kahn Swick & Foti, LLC ("KSF") and KSF partner, the former Attorney General of Louisiana, Charles C. Foti, Jr., remind investors that they have until July 13, 2012 to file lead plaintiff applications in a securities class action lawsuit against JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE: JPM), if they purchased the Companyas common stock during the period between April 13, 2012 and May 11, 2012, inclusive (the "Class Period"). This action is pending in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.

About the Lawsuit

JPMorgan and certain of its senior executives are charged with issuing a series of materially false and misleading statements, during the Class Period, in violation of federal securities laws.

On May 10, 2012, the price of JPMorgan stock declined to $36.96, from $40.74 per share after the Company disclosed that it had sustained a multi-billion dollar trading loss. The disclosure of this loss shocked investors, in part, because only a month earlier the Company denied market rumors that it was facing substantial trading losses.
