Panasonic Soho Multi-Function Printers 'Outstanding' in Wirth Consulting Shootout
SECAUCUS, NJ--(Marketwire - February 8, 2011) - Panasonic System Networks Company of America today announced it has received Wirth Consulting's prestigious Outstanding Performance in Hands-On Testing awards for its SOHO-centric laser-class KX-MB2061 "8-in-1" office and imaging communications system and its KX-MB2030 laser-class network printer, copier, color scanner, and fax MFP.
"The KX-MB2061 really impressed us with its seamless integration of advanced office imaging with 'traditional' voice communication," Wirth evaluators reported in bestowing the award. "At $249.95 (MSRP), its overall quality makes it a great deal to begin with, but for any startup small or home office that wants to upgrade their imaging/communications hub and their phone system, it's an outright bargain."
In hands-on performance testing, the KX-MB2061 was cited for its high-speed 23.78ppm1, "super-fast 12.2 second warm-up time," robust build quality, and ability to produce "crisp black text" at font sizes as small as four points.

The sub-$200 (MSRP) KX-MB2030 took Wirth's Best in Class honors as well as an Outstanding Performance in Hands-On Testing award. This model packs network printing, network color scanning multi-format copying with a 20-sheet ADF, Super Group 3 walk-up fax, PC fax and scan-to-email capability into a compact, eco-friendly form factor.
