Cal-Maine Foods, Inc. Comments on Involvement in Recently Expanded Nationwide Shell Egg Recall

JACKSON, Miss.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Cal-Maine Foods, Inc. (NASDAQ: CALM) today was notified by an Iowa producer that between April 9 and August 18, 2010, the producer sold 32 truckloads of eggs, or approximately 800,000 dozen eggs, to Cal-Maine. This accounts for approximately 0.3 percent of Cal-Mainea™s total sales for that time period. The affected product was added today to the expanded nationwide recall.
