iFabric Corp Develops Foam Antimicrobial

MARKHAM, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 6, 2013) - iFabric Corp (TSX VENTURE:IFA), hereinafter referred to as "iFabric" or the "Company", today announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary company, Intelligent Fabric Technologies (North America) Inc. ("IFTNA"), has developed a process for imbedding its Cliniweave® antimicrobial technology into foam.

"Testing conducted by a USA EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) compliant laboratory has shown Cliniweave® imbedded foam to be highly effective in controlling odor causing bacteria," said Hylton Karon President and CEO of iFabric. "I am extremely excited by this development as there has been a recent trend by athletic and other footwear manufactures to integrate high-tech enhancements in their footwear. In my view, the ability to provide them with the ability to imbed their foam with a technology that controls odor causing bacteria, gives us access to a potentially large and hitherto untapped market. We are currently talking to a number of global brands with the view to incorporating Cliniweave® in their future footwear offerings," added Mr. Karon.

CLINIWEAVE® is effective against a wide range of micro-organisms including mold, mildew, fungi and odor causing bacteria. It provides long-term, effective control of microorganisms. This efficacy and safety has been documented in numerous peer reviewed publications, trade articles and certified tests. It is durable to deterioration through repeated washing and is clinically proven to kill bacteria associated with hospital acquired infections.

Medical facility uses for Cliniweave® includes bedding, curtaining, air filters, scrubs, masks and surfaces amongst others.
