


Cunningham to lead CHS Enterprise Strategy -- ST. PAUL, Minn., March 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --
ST. PAUL, Minn., March 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- CHS Inc. (NASDAQ: [ CHSCP ]), a leading farmer-owned energy, grains and foods company, today named Shirley Cunningham executive vice president, Enterprise Strategy, effective April 22, 2013.
Cunningham, who most recently was chief information officer for Monsanto Company, will lead CHS enterprise strategy functions including information technology, human resources, planning and enterprise strategy, and enterprise marketing and communications. Cunningham will be a member of the CHS senior leadership team and report to CHS President and Chief Executive Officer Carl Casale .
In announcing Cunningham's new role at CHS, Casale said, "Shirley brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in leading and delivering enterprise-wide business initiatives. As CHS continues to develop and execute strategies for growth on behalf of our owners, leveraging the CHS enterprise across all of our businesses will be key to our success."
Cunningham has more than 25 years experience in information technology and business management including leading global IT operations, acquisitions, IT research and development, strategic planning and enterprise initiatives. She was also responsible for developing and executing Monsanto's quality oils strategy. In addition to broad business expertise, Cunningham has extensive global experience, having led Europe, Middle East and Africa IT operations for Monsanto. She also held leadership positions with several companies in the United Kingdom.
She holds a master's of business administration degree from Washington University, St. Louis, Mo., and serves on several boards including Washington University School of Engineering, the AT & T advisory board and the St. Louis children's museum, The Magic House.
