Stoneridge Names Charles DiStaulo Vice President Of Human Resources -- WARREN, Ohio, March 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --

WARREN, Ohio, March 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Stoneridge, Inc. (NYSE: [ SRI ]) today announced that Charles A. DiStaulo has joined the Stoneridge management team in the new role of Vice President of Human Resources. This position has been created to improve and strengthen the Company's global personnel practices and employee development. His primary responsibilities will be to implement talent and performance management systems to maximize the capabilities of the Company's work force of 8,400 employees, design compensation structures, manage employee and labor relations, and coordinate policies and personnel practices throughout the Company's global organization. He will report to John C. Corey , president and chief executive officer.

Since 2008, DiStaulo has been vice president of human resources at Tarkett North America, a global designer and manufacturer of integrated flooring and sports surface solutions. At Tarkett, he was responsible for integration, executive compensation, talent management and acquisition, organizational development, change management, policies and procedures, labor and employee relations, training and development, and compensation and benefits for an organization encompassing 1,500 employees at 10 locations.

Previously, he was director of human resources for the Decorative Products Division of OMNOVA Solutions; group executive director of human resources and communications for Facilities Services Group, a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp.; director of labor and employee relations for East Ohio Gas, a subsidiary of Dominion Resources, Inc.; and director of human resources for Lamson & Sessions Co.

DiStaulo received a master's degree in business administration from Cleveland State University and a bachelor's degree in human resources and labor relations from Bowling Green State University.
