Phoenix Oilfield Hauling Inc. ("Phoenix" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:PHN) is pleased to announce that Bharat Mahajan has been appointed Vice President, Finance of the Company, subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.

Mr. Mahajan most recently was the Chief Executive Officer of NavNet Inc., a private company that designs, develops and manufactures home automation solutions. Prior thereto, Mr. Mahajan held positions as Chief Financial Officer for WellPoint Systems Inc., a company specializing in software for the oil and gas industry and Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer for Norex Exploration Services Inc., a seismic exploration company. Mr. Mahajan holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Toronto and is a Chartered Accountant. Mr. Mahajan will start with Phoenix on October 31, 2011.

Vic Fitch will remain as Interim Chief Financial Officer of Phoenix.
