ICOP Expands Presence in Central Florida

LENEXA, KS--(Marketwire - July 6, 2010) - ICOP Digital, Inc., (NASDAQ: [ ICOP ]) (NASDAQ: [ ICOPD ]), an industry-leading company engaged in advancing digital surveillance technology solutions, today announced the receipt of orders from the Titusville Police Department and the Oviedo Police Department, both located in central Florida. Both agencies have continued to outfit their fleets with the ICOP solution and have made several purchases, the most recent of which were in the second quarter of 2010.

These orders are in addition to the recently announced sale of ICOP equipment to Orange County, the sixth largest county in the state of Florida. The over 250 police agencies in the state have historically been strong proponents and users of both VHS and digital in-car video for the protection of citizens and officers alike. ICOP currently has systems at approximately 10% of agencies in Florida.

Titusville, Florida is home to the Kennedy Space Center, the Space Coast Regional Airport, the Police Hall of Fame and several wildlife areas such as the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge. The City is geographically positioned between Orlando, Daytona Beach, and Melbourne and operates approximately 83 patrol vehicles. The city has benefited from tourism associated with the space program, and the TICO Warbird Air Show each March which draws about 40,000-50,000 visitors.

Oviedo is located in eastern Seminole County about twenty minutes from Orlando. The agency is comprised of approximately 40 patrol vehicles. The most recent purchase included outfitting the agency's motorcycles with ICOP equipment.
